Sire of Arriba (AHHA)

Cabardino is a beautifully refined, modern-type Holsteiner stallion that was imported to Canada in 2005.  Cabardino has the most lovely temperament, what seems like almost unlimited scope over jumps and he is a beautiful mover.

He was Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg International Stallion Approval for Show Jumpers and obtained Premium status with both the German Holstein and Hessen Association.  He completed the 30 day test in Germany and qualified for the Bundeschampionat with a score of 9.0!

Cabardino has achieved multiple wins in the 4' Regular Working Hunter division with his rider, Erynn Ballard.  In 2007, Cabardino returned from all but one of his shows as Champion or Reserve Champion.  Cabardino started his 2008 show season with being awarded Grand Hunter Champion two weeks in a row, winning the Working Hunter Division each week with Erynn Ballard and winning Champion & Reserve Champion ribbons in the Amateur division with Jennifer O'Neill.

Career highlights:

Royal Winter Fair - Nov. 2008 - Reserve Champion - Combined Hunter Division

Royal Winter Fair - Nov. 2007 - Combined Hunter Champion
WEF, Wellington, FL - Feb. 2007 - Regular Hunter Champion
Kentucky National 2007 - Regular Hunter Champion
Lexington, KY, 2006 - Grand Hunter Champion

Cabardino comes from renowned world class jumpers and jumper producers.  He has the legendary Cor De La Bryère twice in his pedigree as well as Caletto II, the sire of Ludger Beerbaum's mount, Classic Touch, the Individual Gold Medal recipient at 1992 Olympic games in Barcelona.

Caretino won his 100 Day Test and moved on to win the German Championships in Mannheim under Bo Kristoffersen.  Under Ludger Beerbaum, he continued his outstanding career until retired to stud.

Carpaccio
was the Champion of his 100 Day Test and won his class at the Bundeschampionat.  He received an overall breeding value score of 145, placing him at the pinnacle and above well-known but older sires such as Acord II (125), Caretino (130), Contender (137), and Quidam de Revel (111).
