Concorde, who in jumping circles is known as 'Olympic' Concorde, comes from very strong jumping lines on both sides.  Sire of this stallion is the impressive dominant breeding stallion Voltaire, who via his sire Furioso II and Gotthard is bred to perform.  Voltaire through the performances of his offspring stands very high in both the dressage and jumping indexes.

Concorde's dam, Flyer, is by the legendary Marco Polo, one of the most influential Dutch stallions in breeding and jumping.  Flyer is related to the International jumper Vivaldi, who, under rider Melanie Smith, was speed horse of the Year in 1980.  Flyer produced at least 6 (Inter)national jumpers, including Concorde.

Concorde, with Piet Raymakers, the Silver Medal winner in Barcelona, was the spectacular winner of the 1990 National Stallion Championships.  With his rider, Jos Lansink, Concorde was winner of the Grand Prix of Nordrhein-Westfalen at Aken and was Champion of the Netherlands in 1994, placed 2nd in the Grand Prix of Amsterdam, 2nd at Darmstadt, 2nd at Lanaken, 2nd at Helsinki and 2nd at Gothenburg.  In 2001, his offspring Audi's Jikke, Kathja, Conquest II, Larino, Viktor, Isabella and Marius Claudius placed at the Grand Prix level (1.60 m).  One year, of the top 8 horses at the Grand Prix of Rotterdam, 3 of them were Concorde offspring, and at the international horseshow of Maastricht, 11 of Concorde's offspring were in the international finals.

Concorde was the youngest stallion ever to be awarded "preferent" and has proven himself to be an absolute top sire of international sport horses with offspring competing at the very top Grand Prix levels (1.60m or 5'2") and World Cup jumping.  Concorde was elected Horse of the Year in 2004 and was the highest ranked KWPN stallion in the top ten of the WBFSH and continues to be ranked in the top.  Concorde continued to prove himself as a top producer of jumpers in and consistently is at the top of the USEF Leading Jumper Sires rankings.  In 2002, Olympic Concorde was the number one producer of show jumpers by money won in the US with his offspring earning nearly $200,000 in 2002 on the American show jumping circuit.
