Iberian Warmblood Jumper Vistosa

Bay Iberian Warmblood Mare (IbWBR)

Canadian Sport Horse (CSHA)
Born May 12, 2000

16.1hh (163cm)

"Vistosa", which means 'eye-catching' or 'showy' in Portuguese, is a beautiful bay mare with free shoulders and elastic movement.  She was inspected and approved by the Canadian Sport Horse Association as a 3-year-old with top scores in her movement and confirmation.

She shows the same athleticism and courage over fences as her dam, who was an accomplished show jumper that easily cleared 1.30m (4'3"+).  Vistosa also has incredible elevated gaits similar to her sire, who competed and placed in FEI Junior dressage competitions in Ontario, Canada, and was schooled up to Level Z (Fourth Level) dressage.

Vistosa has successfully jumped a maximum  height and spread of 3'9" (1.15m) in competition and has been schooled over a maximum height

and spread of 1.20m (~ 4'0").  She is a highly-reliable, enthusiastic and honest mare that demonstrates excellent scope, bascule and natural technique.  Refusing jumps is never a consideration for Vistosa regardless of color, size or height.

Vistosa successfully competed in the Canadian National 'A' Jumper Circuit in three divisions: the 4-Year-Old Jumper Development Series, Beginner Jumper, and Jr./Amateur Level 1 Jumper.  She competed against up to 51 other beginner to advanced horses and riders, including members of the Canadian Olympic Team, over 3'3" to 3'9" fences and spreads.

SOLD!  Thank you and congratulations to Dyanne McDonald and her family of Ontario, Canada, on the purchase of our very special girl.  We are so happy that she's found a forever home with your family and we know that she'll be as special to you as she's been to us.
